E1M-X V2N-M1 Errata
Scope
This document is the canonical errata list for the E1M-X V2N-M1 family of Alp Lab System-on-Modules (E1M-V2M101, E1M-V2M102). It tracks hardware, firmware, and documentation issues against specific module-PCB and factory-image revisions, including issues specific to the DeepX DX-M1 on-module AI accelerator.
This errata complements but does not replace:
- The Renesas RZ/V2N SoC errata (published by Renesas).
- The DeepX DX-M1 hardware errata (published by DeepX).
- The E1M-X V2N Errata (
ER-V2N-001) — issues affecting the V2N base also affect V2N-M1 unless explicitly noted as DX-M1-specific.
Module-Revision History
Table: Module-PCB revision history
| Revision | Production status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Rev. A | Engineering samples only | Pre-production. Not for customer shipment. |
| Rev. B | Pilot run (Q2 2026) | First customer-shipped revision. |
Errata at Current Revision (Rev. B)
No known errata at this revision. All V2N-base errata are reflected in ER-V2N-001; this table is reserved for DX-M1-specific or multiplex-related issues that only manifest on the V2N-M1 SKUs.

Severity Conventions
Same as ER-AEN-001 §4. Critical / Major / Minor / Documentation.
Reporting a New Issue
If you believe you've identified an issue not listed above:
- Confirm the module revision (laser-marked on the underside of the SoM).
- Capture the symptom (logs, photos, oscilloscope traces, measurement conditions).
- Note the boot DIP-switch state and the PCIe-mux state (DX-M1 vs external M.2) at the moment of failure.
- For DX-M1-specific issues, capture the
lspci -vvvoutput of the DX-M1 device. - File a report through one of the channels in
DS-V2N-M1-001 §18.4.
Alp Lab will respond within five business days with an initial triage classification.
