E1M-X V2N Errata

Scope

This document is the canonical errata list for the E1M-X V2N family of Alp Lab System-on-Modules (E1M-V2N101, E1M-V2N102). It tracks hardware, firmware, and documentation issues against specific module-PCB and factory-image revisions.

This errata complements but does not replace the Renesas RZ/V2N SoC errata (published separately by Renesas). SoC-level issues are not duplicated here unless they materially affect the V2N module integration or have a different mitigation on the SoM.

Reporting a New Issue

If you believe you've identified an issue not listed above:

  1. Confirm the module revision (laser-marked on the underside of the SoM).
  2. Capture the symptom (logs, photos, oscilloscope traces, measurement conditions).
  3. Note the boot DIP-switch state at the moment of failure — many V2N-class issues are misdiagnosed without this.
  4. File a report through one of the channels in DS-V2N-001 §18.4.

Alp Lab will respond within five business days with an initial triage classification.
